Safety Platforms have addressed and provided a safe solution to a safety issue that has been around for many years within the house building industry.
For many years and across the whole housebuilding sector the installation of roof trusses was usually done by a joiner who would fashion a ladder through nailing timber battens up to the apex of a roof to fix the highest trusses. This method was and is inherently dangerous and leaves the operative with a fall hazard of up to 5m. The STA system gives the roof truss installer 3 points of contact thus drastically reducing the chance of falls and injury.
The STA System safe truss installation system has been nominated for the “Best New Product” in the Health and Safety category of the Housebuilder Product Awards.
